Spreading Appreciation One Precinct At A Time: The Blue Hero Project Brings Smiles To Our LEO's

We found out about The Blue Hero Project this previous Fall while researching organizations in Washington State that supported our local law enforcement officers. And thank goodness we did! The Blue Hero Project is an organization that spreads love and support to police officers in the Pacific Northwest by providing them with good food

to fill their bellies, Bibles for officers to carry with them, and by hosting appreciation events for LEO's and their families to enjoy. The Blue Hero Project was founded with the mission to show local law enforcement that they are supported and appreciated for everything they do each day. This is accomplished by visiting three to four departments each month and bringing a variety of snacks, beverages, and Bibles as "LEO Outreach Kits" to show love and appreciation. This non-profit organization was founded by Diane and her husband after they assisted local police wives in raising money for treats to be taken to the Seattle Police Department. After seeing a wonderful amount of participation from their community, it was clear this was something that needed to be ongoing.

What drew us in to supporting such a wonderful non-profit organization is how much their pure love and support shines through in their mission to provide our law enforcement officers with an authentic and real outpouring of kindness- food and Jesus. It is a fantastic way to remind our community heroes that we acknowledge and appreciate their hard work, and we value them and their sacrifices. It is truly an honor to have found the Blue Hero Project, and Seattle's Finest is proud to support them however we can. If you would like to learn more about what these amazing people do, make sure to follow them on Facebook HERE or check out their website to see how you can support this organization as well.
